Blood Sugar Levels in Type 2 Diabetes


Blood sugar levels are an important measure of type 2 diabetes control.  Your healthcare provider may recommend you check your blood glucose levels at home. Fasting blood glucose is the most common blood test.  It is usually done first thing in the morning or after at least an 8 hour fast.
